Arrangements in full swing for the +1 Public examinations commencing 7th March

Public examinations are scheduled to be conducted for the +1 Students from this year. In order to get the students better prepared, model question papers for the subjects have already been sent to all the schools.
With the half-yearly examinations and the revision examinations having been recently completed, the 2nd revision examinations are scheduled to commence in the next few days.
The aggregate marks for each subject has been reduced to 100 marks from 200. The ‘theory’ part of the subject will be for 70 marks and the ‘practical’ part of the subject will carry 20 marks. The balance 10 marks are internal assessment marks – carrying specific marks for aspects like attendance, the project undertaken, and the field-work.
+1 Public examinations are scheduled to start on 7th March and conclude on 16th April.
The Director of the Government Examination Board has ordered that all the headmasters/principals of schools must register the internal assessment marks from 13th to 23rd March and should submit the internal assessment mark detail to the office of the relevant District Education Officer.
