Cash payment not accepted at petrol bunks!

The Oil Corporations have instructed the petrol bunk owners to accept only digital transactions as a measure to prevent the spreading of coronavirus!
More than 5000 petrol buns (Indian Oil Corporation, Bharath Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation) set up by the dealers are functioning throughout the state of Tamil Nadu.
Generally, payment is collected from the vehicle drivers/owners as digital transactions using debit/credit cards, and Mobile App apart from cash payment.
However, in the prevailing condition of the globally fast-spreading coronavirus, it is also reported that this virus can spread through cash currencies/coins! Hence, the Oil Corporations have emphasised the petrol bunk owners/dealers to give priority only to digital payment mode!
Further, the bunk owners have also been instructed to keep hand-washing cleaners in the petrol bunks as well as to take extra care on the cleanliness 0f the area!
