TANGEDCO has introduced a new facility to pay the electricity bills – Bharat Bill Payment System.
Now, the electricity bills can be paid at the electricity board payment service centres, Mobile App, the state government E-service centres and the Post Offices.
The Reserve Bank of India, jointly with the National Payment Corporation of India, has introduced a new payment facility called Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS)
The websites of all the banks carry a section ‘Bharat Bill Payment System’. Once this is entered, it will display the TANGEDCO part. TANGEDCO has introduced the bill payment through this from today (Monday, 26th February). With this, EB bill payment can be made anywhere, anytime.
The customer can track the bill amount to be paid and then make the payment, There are no service charges for making electricity bill payment through this facility.
