It is interesting to note that some rooms present in this famous memorial that were closed in the past are opened now for the sake of public coming here. People visiting this memorial now would be surprised to see more icon replicas of late president of India Dr Abdul Kalam in different types of poses along with different personalities. It is well known that Dr Abdul Kalam passed away when he went to IIM Shillong.

Born in the year 1931in Rameswaram, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam studied in St Joseph College in Trichy and later did aeronautical engineering in the famous Madras Institute of Technology or MIT Chennai. He worked as a scientist in DRDO and did superbly is known.
