Ingredients
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 cup warm water (not hot)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp instant yeast (or 1¼ tsp dry active yeast)
Method
1. Activate the Yeast (If using active yeast)
- Mix warm water + sugar + yeast.
- Let it sit for 5–7 minutes until frothy.
(If using instant yeast, you can skip activation and add directly to flour.)
2. Make the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, add flour + salt.
- Pour yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth, soft, and elastic.
3. Let it Rise
- Grease a bowl lightly with oil.
- Place dough, cover with a damp cloth.
- Let it rise for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
4. Shape the Pizza
- Punch down the dough to remove air.
- Divide into 2 balls for medium pizzas.
- Roll out to your desired thickness (thin crust or fluffy crust).
5. Add Toppings
- Spread pizza sauce
- Add mozzarella
- Add veggies/meat/herbs of your choice
6. Bake
- Preheat oven to 240°C (465°F) or highest setting.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.

- Add 1 tbsp yogurt for extra soft dough.
- Brush crust with garlic butter before baking.
