Google has now officially launched its experimental AI Mode in Search Labs in India, powered by Gemini 2.5. Indian users can query via text, voice, or image through Google Lens and receive AI-generated summaries and interactive chart visualizations.
This marks Google’s first international rollout, offering richer contextual insights and conversational follow-up. Though some features like live voice chat remain limited, it still represents a major upgrade in search intelligence. Users can enable it via Search Labs and switch to AI Mode on the search results interface.
