India is doubling down on high-performance computing: the CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) has announced a new 30-petaflop supercomputer to be deployed in Bengaluru.
This will strengthen India’s capabilities in scientific research, complex simulations, AI model training, and climate science—reducing dependence on external compute infrastructure.
