Google has rolled out its AI-powered Search Mode in India for seven new Indian languages — Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu — making conversational query responses available in native tongues.
In addition, it launched a feature called “Search Live”, which allows users to interact using voice or the camera, making search more intuitive and context-aware. This step aims to bridge the accessibility gap for non-English users in India.
