- Fresh spinach leaves – 1 cup (washed and chopped)
- Garlic – 2 cloves (crushed)
- Onion – 1 small (chopped)
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Salt – as needed
- Water or vegetable stock – 2 cups
- Ghee or oil – 1 tsp
- Optional: 1 tbsp cream or ¼ cup milk (for creaminess)

- Sauté: Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion. Sauté until soft.
