  • 1 cup fresh cream (heavy cream or Amul fresh cream)
  • 1/2 cup full-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust as needed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tsp agar agar powder or 2 tsp gelatin (if non-vegetarian)

For the mango layer:

  • 1 to 1.5 cups mango pulp (fresh or canned, strained)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, based on mango sweetness)
  • 1/2 tsp agar agar powder or 1 tsp gelatin

Instructions

  1. Make the panna cotta layer:
    • In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and sugar.
    • Heat gently until the sugar dissolves—don’t boil.
    • Add agar agar (or gelatin) and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly.
    • Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract.
    • Pour into serving glasses, filling them halfway.
    • Let it set in the fridge for 1–2 hours.
  2. Prepare the mango layer:
    • Blend mango pulp until smooth.
    • Heat it gently with sugar (if using).
    • Add agar agar or gelatin, simmer for 2–3 minutes until dissolved.
    • Cool slightly, then pour over the set panna cotta layer.
    • Chill again for 2–3 hours or until fully set.
  3. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh mango pieces or mint leaves.
    • Serve chilled!
