Celebrate Eid with this mouthwatering Hari Mirch Qeema, a flavorful minced meat dish infused with green chilies and aromatic spices. This North Indian & Pakistani delicacy is perfect to pair with naan, roti, or fragrant basmati rice.
📝 Ingredients:
- 500g minced mutton/beef
- 6-7 green chilies (slit) 🌶️
- 2 onions (finely chopped) 🧅
- 2 tomatoes (pureed) 🍅
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 🧄
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ cup yogurt (whisked)
- 2 tbsp oil/ghee 🥄
- Salt to taste 🧂
- Fresh coriander & lemon for garnish 🍋🌿
👨🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and onions; sauté till golden brown.
2️⃣ Add ginger-garlic paste, cook until raw smell disappears.
3️⃣ Mix in pureed tomatoes, green chilies, and dry spices; cook until oil separates.
4️⃣ Add minced meat, cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
5️⃣ Stir in yogurt and cook on low flame until the qeema is tender.
6️⃣ Garnish with fresh coriander & a squeeze of lemon juice.
