🌿 Sattu Chilla Recipe (Healthy & Diabetic-Friendly)

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sattu flour (roasted Bengal gram flour)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tsp ajwain (carom seeds) – aids digestion
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric (optional)
  • Water to make a batter
  • Ghee or oil for cooking (preferably cold-pressed)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except oil.
  2. Gradually add water to make a smooth, pourable batter (like dosa batter).
  3. Heat a non-stick or iron tawa. Grease lightly with oil/ghee.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it like a pancake.
  5. Cook on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney or curd.
