🍰 Banana Almond Cake Recipe (Eggless Option Included)

Ingredients:

  • Ripe bananas – 2 large (mashed)
  • All-purpose flour (maida) – 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
  • Butter or oil – 1/3 cup (melted)
  • Milk – 1/2 cup (adjust consistency)
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Chopped almonds – 1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon powder (optional) – 1/4 tsp
  • Pinch of salt

🍳 For egg version: Add 1 egg
🧁 Eggless version: Use 1/4 cup curd or 1/2 mashed banana more

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake tin or loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas smoothly.
  3. Add sugar, oil/butter, and vanilla essence. Mix well.
  4. Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Slowly add milk and mix to form a smooth, pourable batter. Don’t overmix.
  6. Fold in chopped almonds. Save a few to sprinkle on top.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Tap gently to level.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool completely before slicing.
