UK fintech firm Revolut has plans to launch a digital payments platform in India that integrates with local infrastructure like UPI and Visa.
Initially, 350,000 waitlisted users will get access, as Revolut pursues an ambitious target of 20 million users by 2030. It has also invested heavily in localizing its backend to meet India’s data sovereignty and compliance norms.
