The Karnataka Cabinet has approved a ₹518 crore startup policy (2025–2030) that aims to support 25,000 deep-tech startups across AI, blockchain, and quantum computing.
Importantly, the policy doesn’t just favor Bengaluru — about 10,000 of these startups are expected to be set up outside the city, pushing for inclusive innovation and regional technology development. This could significantly boost India’s capacity in frontier tech and democratize access to advanced research infrastructure.
