🥭 Homemade Mango Frooti Recipe
Recreate the sweet, tangy delight of store-bought Frooti with just a few ingredients and no added chemicals!
📝 Ingredients:
- Ripe mango – 2 medium-sized (Alphonso or Banganapalli preferred)
- Raw mango – 1 small (for slight tang)
- Sugar – ½ to ¾ cup (adjust to taste)
- Water – 2 to 2½ cups
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp (optional, for extra tang)
🔥 Preparation Method:
- Peel and chop both ripe and raw mangoes into small pieces.
- In a saucepan, add chopped mangoes, sugar, and 1 cup water.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes until the mangoes turn soft.
- Allow it to cool slightly, then blend it into a smooth puree.
- Strain the puree to remove fibers (for a smooth texture).
- Add remaining water gradually while mixing to get Frooti-like consistency.
- Chill in the refrigerator and serve cold!
✅ Tips:
- You can store it in a glass bottle in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- Adjust sugar and lemon based on how sweet/tangy your mangoes are.
- For a more natural version, skip lemon and use only raw mango for tanginess.
