🧆 Easy Pakka Vada Recipe
📝 Ingredients:
- Besan (Gram flour) – 1 cup
- Garlic – 4–5 cloves, crushed
- Ginger – 1 tsp finely chopped
- Curry leaves – a few
- Green chilies – 2, chopped
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for deep frying
- Water – to mix the batter
- Chili powder / Pepper powder – ½ tsp
👩🏻🍳 Preparation Method:
- In a large mixing bowl, add besan, salt, ginger, garlic, green chilies, curry leaves, and chili/pepper powder.
- Gradually add water and mix into a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a pan. Take small portions of batter and drop them into the hot oil.
- Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crisp.
- Once done, drain excess oil using tissue paper.
🍽️ Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with tea. Perfect for an evening snack or a light tea-time treat.
