  1. New Centre of Excellence at VTU Bengaluru

    • He urged clear roadmaps and rigorous progress reviews, aiming for 10% of global 6G IP from India.
  3. Global Patent and R&D Ambitions
    • India aims to be among the top six nations in 6G patents, targeting 10% of global 6G patents by 2027, with 111 R&D projects sanctioned (~₹300 cr).
    • Rahul policy frameworks and public–private partnerships are being strengthened to support 6G testbeds and ecosystem readiness.
  4. International Collaboration & Global Standards
    • Bharat 6G Alliance is collaborating internationally with countries like USA, Germany, Brazil, South Korea.
    • India is actively participating in global bodies (like ITU) to help shape 6G standards and regulations—aiming to lead in both innovation and policy.
