In a landmark initiative, ABB India — in collaboration with Microsoft India and its startup accelerator SynerLeap — announced Bengaluru-based startup Cloudworx as the winner of the ABB Startup Challenge India 2025. The startup’s AI-powered 3D visualization platform will help industrial customers choose and maintain motors and drives with greater precision and efficiency, marking a shift in how traditional manufacturing will adopt smart technologies.
This move underlines the growing maturity of India’s industrial-tech ecosystem and the role of startups in transforming legacy machinery via digital intelligence. The project not only provides a USD 30,000 prize but also direct collaboration with ABB’s drive-products division — signalling that major industrial firms are looking to partner with early-stage innovators for global solutions.
