🪔 Cozy Up This Winter with a Quick and Tasty Til Laddu Recipe 🤎❄️

🌾 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white sesame seeds (til)
  • ½ cup jaggery (grated or powdered)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp peanuts (optional)
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut (optional)
  • A pinch of cardamom powder

👩‍🍳 Method:

  1. Roast the sesame seeds:
    In a pan, dry roast sesame seeds on low flame until they turn light golden and aromatic. Remove and set aside.
  2. Melt the jaggery:
    In the same pan, add ghee and grated jaggery. Stir continuously until it melts and forms a sticky syrup (do not overcook).
  3. Mix it all together:
    Add roasted sesame seeds, peanuts, coconut, and cardamom powder. Mix quickly until everything is well coated in the jaggery syrup.
  4. Shape the laddus:
    While the mixture is still warm, grease your palms with a little ghee and roll small portions into round laddus.
  5. Cool & store:
    Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
