The skill development competition for the school and college students, sponsored by the South India Book Traders and Publishers Association, will be conducted during the 41st Chennai Book Fair to be conducted from 10th January to 22nd January at the St. George`s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School (Opp Pachaiyappa`s College), Aminjikarai, Chennai. The contests include drawing contest, elocution contest, Thirukkural reciting contest, and others.

Thirukkual Special Contest – 21st January 2018
The contestant should be able to tell the entire verse when the Adhikaram number is told or the 1st word of the verse. The contestant should give a simple explanation of the verse.
