Tips – Do you have joint inflammation, then avoid these foods

There is a tissue that connects the joints of our body and swelling in this tissue leads to osteoarthritis or OA.  Hence this is a disease that is related to the joints. People with this issue have severe joint pain, stiffness, swelling of the joints and decreased range of motion. These symptoms could affect the normal life of the person. When a person is affected by osteoarthritis then the person must not consume certain foods as these foods could cause more issues for them by harming the joints. Women after 50 years of age are more affected by this issue than men.
People having osteoarthritis issue must not consume these foods.
Avoid high salty foods:
It is known that foods like pizza, chips fast foods etc are rich in salt content and these foods must be avoided by the persons having osteoarthritis issue. The symptoms get worse by the intake of these high salt foods. Water retention becomes a problem in the joint cells due to high levels of salt in the body. This results in swelling of joints.
Avoid sugary foods:
Inflammation of the joints would be worsened and strained joints would feel weaker when the person with osteoarthritis consumes processed cakes, cookies, baker products etc. These foods have yeast, starch and processed sugar in huge amounts and they could increase the issue.
Say no to alcohol:
Alcohol is dangerous and excessive drinking of alcohol could lead to death etc. Persons having osteoarthritis issues must not consume alcohol as it could increase the swelling in the joints.
Avoid red meat intake:
Omega 6 fatty acids are present in the red meat and it is not beneficial to our body. By the intake of red meat, omega 6 fatty acids amount increases in us and cholesterol plus fat levels rise. This would finally lead to more swelling in the joints and great discomfort.
