These natural remedies for treating bad breath are superb

People face embarrassment for many reasons and bad breath is one such that causes huge embarrassment for a person. This bad breath is an issue many of us have. After tooth decay and gum disease, bad breath is the third issue that is responsible for the people to take dental care. There are few reasons why this bad breath problem affects many these days. It is said that poor oral hygiene, smoking, dentures, dry mouth, crash diets etc play their part in causing this issue in us. There are few health conditions like pneumonia, sinus infections, bronchitis etc that could cause bad breath in us.
There are few natural remedies available to treat this bad breath issue in us. They are
Apples, cinnamon and yoghurt:
This is a superb home remedy to treat this issue of bad odour in us. The pectin present in apples helps in controlling food odour and in the production of saliva. The antimicrobial property of cinnamon plus active cultures in yoghurt does superbly in reducing odour causing bacteria in our mouth. In the first step apple chunks, grated carrot and 3 to 5 teaspoons of low fat yoghurt are mixed together. Then cinnamon powder is sprinkled on it and it is consumed.
Saline solution:
To avoid building up of the infectious bacteria in our mouths, saline solution could be used to rinse our mouths. This is very effective to treat this bad breath issue.
Tea tree oil:
To the glass of warm water is added 2 to 3 drops of tea tree oil. The antibacterial property of tea tree oil is superb. Gargling for 5 minutes must be done using the above mentioned combination.
Usage of herbs like mint, basil etc:
It is known that chlorophyll is present in the herbs like mint, basil etc. These herbs could keep our gums, teeth clean. This chlorophyll present in the herbs internally deodorise our body and this lead to fresh breath in us.
Intake of green tea:
This green tea apart from providing us many health benefits could also help in treating bad breath problem in us. The deodorant and antibacterial property of green tea plays a role in this. The bad breath could be prevented or arrested due to the presence of polyphenols in green tea.
Aloe vera:
The anti-fungal and antibacterial property of aloe vera does tremendously in treating bad breath issue in us. The aloe vera extract is a superb mouthwash and it reduces plaque.
Coconut oil:
Coconut oil is also one superb home remedy to treat this issue. In the first step virgin coconut oil is taken in our mouth and swished for 5 minutes. It is then spitted out. In the next step lukewarm water is used to wash the mouth. This procedure must be repeated every day.
 
Ginger juice:
The antimicrobial properties of this ginger juice are fantastic and it treats bad breath issue efficiently. To a glass of warm water is added one teaspoon of ginger juice. This combination is used to rinse the mouth. This process must be carried out every day after taking food.
