Tata Consumer Products Ltd reported a 52% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹407.07 crore for the quarter ended March 2025. This growth was attributed to higher income, with total income rising to ₹4,664.73 crore from ₹3,965.39 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s board has recommended a dividend of ₹8.25 per equity share for FY 2024-25, subject to shareholder approval. If approved, the dividend will be paid on or after June 21, 2025.
Despite the profit growth, Tata Consumer faced challenges with rising tea prices due to adverse weather and supply chain disruptions. While the company implemented price hikes across its tea and salt portfolios, these measures did not fully offset the increased costs, leading to a contraction in core profit margins.
For the full fiscal year FY25, the company reported a net profit of ₹1,380.31 crore, up from ₹1,300.99 crore in FY24.
